The Texas Lobby Group, a Republican Lobbyist organization, had earned accolades across our state. Using our considerable contacts with Texas policy makers, we provide legislative advocacy for our clients.

Services include: administrative lobbying, grassroots development and mobilization, strategy development, internal and external communications, legislative lobbying, and political strategy, advice and counsel.

Our lobbying partners are tops in their field in our state. Bill Messer and Michael Toomey have both been named as the top lobbyists in the past by Capitol Inside as well as Texas Monthly magazine. They have also been listed among the most influential people in current Texas politics. Lara Laneri Keel was named among the top five lobbyists to watch by Capitol Inside for two years in a row. In addition, Mrs. Keel was named the top female lobbyist in 2011 by Capitol Inside.

Two of our lobbyists are former Texas legislators. Mike Toomey served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives. He is also the only person in Texas history to serve as chief of staff for two different Governors. He served under both William Clements and Rick Perry. Bill Messer was listed among the top 10 legislators by Texas Monthly and was himself a House Calendars Chairperson.

Lara Keel formerly worked as a lobbyist for the largest business group in our state, The Texas Association of Business and Chambers of Commerce – TABCC.

The Texas Lobby Group was formed in 2002 and has received a high number of accolades for our services. Our client portfolio includes a number of Fortune 500 companies like Liberty Mutual, AT & T, UnitedHealth Group, and Texas Instruments.
