House Joint Resolution 2 is proposing a constitutional amendment that requires all revenue from motor fuel taxes be used exclusively for maintenance and construction of rights of way for specific public roads. The resolution also concerns the transfer of general revenue to the available school and economic stabilization funds. This proposition will be voted on by the public in the November 5th election this fall. If passed, it will take effect on January 1st of 2014, and would expire the same date of the following year.
